{on my bookshelf}

The book ‘This Little Piggy went to Prada’ by Amy Allen, is a delightful little read filled with nursery rhymes perfect for any fashion or art admirer. It is a funny and entertaining read that will be sure to make you laugh!

With a post script of ‘Nursery rhymes for the Blahnik Brigade,’ this short read is for fashion lovers and those who really want a visual feast. The absolutely stunning watercolor illustrations were done by Eun-Kyung Kang. Wouldn’t it be gorgeous to have a few of these framed in a little girl’s room?

Here is one of my favorite rhymes:

*{Cobbler, cobbler}*

Cobbler cobbler, mend my shoes.
Careful please, they’re Christian Lous.
Those red soles, they’ll never date,
They’ll still be hot in Spring ’08.

I think this makes a perfect coffee table book, and could also be a perfect baby shower gift for any mommy-to-be!
