{fashion meets interior design}

I just love examples of interior decor directly translating into fashion {or the vice versa}, and this one here is a keeper! It's no secret that I am smitten with medallion prints, especially when it comes to lovely wallcoverings. Check out this glamorous gold medallion trench coat from the Spring 2010 Dries Van Noten collection:

Romo carries a medallion print wallcovering that is to die for, you might recognize it from the first season of Sarah's House:

Kiku via Romo

Medallion prints are so lovely, and especially in metallics. So ... I'll take the trench coat, and one wall of the Kiku paper in my master bedroom please!

ooo! I do recognize that wallpaper and love it! I like the idea of some glimmer on my walls - I'll take it too!

Nancy I remember that room that SR did and I fell in love with, can you believe the length of that banquet, love it and the paper is the perfect backdrop. Kathysue

This metallic medallion wallpaper is gorgeous, but I don't feel the same way with the non-metallic versions haha! Great job for calling the similarity between that coat and the wallpaper, I totally see it!

I love Sarah Richardson. This room is so feminine and elegant. Love the blue-gray velvet bench and crystal chandelier against the metallic wallpaper.
