{house tour: leah balderson's condo}

The September issue of House & Home features 5 small spaces with very different styles, and Leah Balderson's lovely condo in Vancouver was my absolute favorite among them. So many things about the aesthetic of this space speak to me. The oyster palette is so soothing and inviting! I love the monochromatic wallpaper used in the living room, it's from Leah's Vancouver homewares store, Peridot. {all images via House & Home}.

Ooh, is that a silver pouf I spot??

Recognize the dining area? I posted about the lovely script fabric on the louis-style chairs here.  That glass leaf chandelier is pretty amazing too.

I love Leah's 'go big or go home' attitude. In a small space, most people would gravitate towards small, or 'condo-sized' pieces. Instead she uses key pieces on a bigger scale to create a grand look. This large-scale Moroccan light-fixture really makes a statement you won't soon forget.

Talk about taking a builder-basic condo to the next level {or several levels for that matter}! Just goes to show that you can truly personalize any space you've got!

I'm totally loving the script fabric on those dining chairs. I'm looking for something like that for my dining room chairs, any ideas?

Thanks for sharing.

There are so many beautiful elements in Leah's condo. Love the wallpaper and the DR chandelier and the night table in her bedroom. And of course, those fab DR chairs with the text fabric :-)

Very girly and glam. Love all the wallpapers which aren't overpowering but add something to the rooms.

First of all, I can't believe I had forgot to "follow you" on GFC, after all I've enjoyed your blog on the regular for a long time now!

Second, that apartment is like the culmination of all your previous blog posts! It's so light and feminine, and I love the silver pouf haha!!

Oh wow, anyone know where I can get that fabulous night table (shown with the light in it)? I'm currently looking for a small white night table and that looks perfect!

Hard to believe that's a condo! Beautiful. That fireplace is a little odd, isn't it? I had to read the copy to make sure that's what it was.

So bright and light! The condo has a very comforting atmosphere, don't you think? The light colors are bright, but at the same time, give a soft glow. Kind of feather-like, actually.
