{a delicious dressing room}

Ok, now here's a perfect example of IKEA done well. Really well! This airy, delicious dressing room is so lovely, I adore the 'built-in' look of the IKEA Abstrakt cabinets. And believe it or not, almost every accessory you see in this space is from our lovely Swedish big-box store too :) The trio of chandeliers would bring plenty of light, wouldn't this be perfect as a home office as well? Who wouldn't be inspired in this space? {images via Style at Home}

LOVE this organizing tray! Perfect for makeup, craft tools, or office supplies.

Here are just some of the IKEA items we see in the space above; clear glass and a white palette keep the space bright and airy with restrained pops of color.

1 - Liatorp Desk $449, 2 - Jonsbo Orod Lamp $59.99, 3 - Kristaller Chandelier $49.99, 4 - Tobias Chair $129.00, 5 - Godmorgon Organizing Box $19.99, 6 - Andrea Rug $199.00, 7 - Trensum Mirror $9.99, 8 - Nojs Clock $9.99

Speaking of customizing big-box finds, did you catch the big-box kitchen on Sarah 101 last night? Sarah took an IKEA kitchen to the next level, I love the idea of taking products like these and making them your own!

I love the wallpaper - it's the perfect hit of pattern in the room, and it really accentuates the angles of the space. And love the line of three chandeliers too - if one chandelier is good, three chandeliers is three times as good! :-)

Oh Nancy I think I love you!! I've been looking for that acrylic makeup organization tray on IKEA's website, but I couldn't find it. I'm getting it! Love the room too, and I actually thought it was a home office when I saw it on Style at Home.

Indeed, this dressing room is wonderful. I love that is looks so clean and airy. Those IKEA cabinets are definitely very well used. I also love the bold color of the rug because it contrasts perfectly to the overall white background. Thank you for this very useful post.
