One of the features that truly caught my eye was the wall feature: Erica used simple white ikea frames to display shopping bags from her travels:
Don't you love this idea?? I had to do some searching but I finally found a wall that I had seen similar to this featured in House & Home, it belongs to Krista Webster and was designed by Jessica Cotton:
I had the picture above stuck in my memory for some time! Now I feel happy that I have saved some of my favorite shopping bags!! If only my closet had the wall space ...
How feminine and fun! I guess I'll keep saving up my pretty bags :) To see more of Erica's gorgeous closet go here, and if you aren't following her lovely blog you're missing out!

I've been drooling over that closet since I first saw it too- I so so need an overhaul on mine and will definitely be saving some bags from now on- sad that I've thrown out so many now that I see how adorable they can be framed and displayed.
oh wow, i LOVE that idea, i wish i had saved all of my bags...now i will, i am off to check out her blog! thanks!
Although I am guy, I have quite a few shopping bags. I was lamenting over what do with them. I think this is the perfect solution. Imagine a wall filled with framed Hermes bags or the Tory Burch bags....

So gorgeous. I absolutely loved her closet
Pretty spectacular!! Love this idea,Kathysue
I agree...that's an ingenious idea. Easy and cheap. Well, not cheap if you shop at some of those stores! Haha ;)
Such a great idea! I have lots of shopping bags but not the framing kind - I guess I need to frequent these stores!
This idea is so much fun! Thanks for sharing!
Brilliant! I love the idea and I LOVE that closet!
Good morning lovely friend!
Wasn't that a great idea! I will now also start saving fancy bags like a squirrel!

That is such a great idea! However, I don't think my closet wall would look too impressive with framed bags from WalMart, Loblaws, and Home Depot ;-)
I love this post! I'm totally inspired to pull out all my pretty bags and frame them!
what a lovely idea. absolutely perfect for closet decor!
Thanks for the shout out! You are the absolute sweetest Nancy! xoxo e

I know, I love this idea! I had seen it in House & Home and am currently in the process of framing some of my own bags. My closet isn't anywhere near as big and glam as that so mine will be on my bedroom wall instead. Such fun! :)
I thought I was crazy to love bags so much and collect them in all shapes and sizes; I call my self the bag lady, it just never felt right to through away a nice bag, but I never thought of framing them. Wow good idea I will do that for sure.
Thank you Nancy for sharing; you are awesome.

This is a great idea, especially when some of those bags have memories attached to them.
now this makes me want to frame my tiffany's bag big time! so beautiful and a great momento :)
I had to laugh at Kelly's comment because I was thinking the same thing: Hmmm, how would my Target, Home Depot, and Staples bags look in clean, white Ikea frames?
What a fabulous closet, though! I love her organization. I could use a bit of her organization.
Great post - just the inspiration I needed!
I just knew those bags from all the fancy chocolate stores would come in handy! This post just inspired me to find and frame specialty food bags for my kitchen! Thank you for sharing the idea!
