{house tour: a tailored classic}

Thought I would share one of my favorite interiors from this month's House Beautiful, you'll recognize the desk area that I posted earlier this week with the four lovely silhouettes. Well now you can tour through the rest of this gorgeous home! What I loved most was the extensive millwork, chevron floors, and the light palette with the perfect touch of pink.

Loved the benches placed in this kitchen in lieu of stools! A nice change from the norm:

Hope you have a wonderful Friday! And don't forget to enter to win a copy of 'Domino, the Book of Decorating.'

House Beautiful is really knocking it out of the park lately. These photos are all beyond gorgeous and I agree, the millwork is insanely good. I'm so tempted to a similar treatment like everywhere- it just makes a space look so much more regal somehow. Happy weekend sweetie! xo

I get such joy out of looking at homes like this because at this stage in my life I could never live like that. The kids would have everything filthy in seconds. have a great weekend.

I love the benches. They give the very traditional space a more modern and updated look. I love it when the room has something unexpected.

I have definitely entered your Domino giveaway (crossing fingers ;)

This home is so beautiful, you always share the most classic spaces! Love the idea of using benches at the kitchen island too, I hate sitting on bar stools.
