{architectural prints as wallpaper}

I've confessed my love for architectural prints here before, and I've got a couple hanging in my own home that I adore! They bring a layer of history and interest to any space.

I came across this space designed by Charlotte Moss that made me do a double take! Architectural prints as wallpaper, how bold!! I could see it being so glamorous in a little jewel-box powder room with wainscotting on the lower half of the wall:

It could also work well in a glamorous entry way paired with black paneling like that of Victoria Webster's home, could you picture it??

YUM! I hope you all have a few fabulous plans for your weekends, I'll be heading to the Vancouver Home & Garden Show so I hope to have a few tidbits to share with you next week!

Nancy that first image with the shiny frames is amazingly beautiful. I can see something like that in your home for sure!!! I love architectural prints. I once saw a show years ago on HGTV where a designer had found a book with architectural prints and the buildings were in the shapes of letters he had the whole alphabet on the wall behind a sofa If I remember right. I have tried to find just one print like that and alas, stil have not found it. Happy weekend and have fun at the show, KS

I am so afraid of wallpaper it's not even funny (flashback to me helping take wallpaper OFF the walls in my moms house when I was like...9). Wish I was brave enough to do something so grand in my home! Baby steps...maybe a small bathroom wall will be my start off point to end wallpaper-phobia? I do love the architectural framed prints tho!

I have always LOVE architectural drawings, photos of buildings, etc.but wallpaper - LOVE IT! Just wish i wasn't renting. I would look amazing in our living room! Sigh....

But I am excited, my daughter is taking drafting and has just created a rendering of a bicycle that was printed up on large drafting paper. I can't wait to frame it. Next term she designs buildings and interior renderings. Can't wait to frame those too - nice to have cheap and gorgeous art hanging in the house!

Gosh, my spelling is horrible. I meant "It" would look good in my living room not "I" {well I would look good in my living room :)}

That's really cool wallpaper! Love it paired with the black baseboard. I can totally see it in a library or office.

Have a great weekend, Nancy :-)

It's a great way to pay homage to historical reference, in a contemporary way. Love it!

How lovely! I admit, I absolutely adore architectural prints... I recall back in high school, favoring drawing buildings over almost anything else—my favorite being the flatiron building in NYC. (was so surprised when it won in an art show) I still look at it from time to time, and have considered framing it. You have convinced me, though mine is certainly not as elegant as these!

Hope you are having a wonderful, wonderful weekend, enjoying our bits of sunshine,

xoxo

The wallpaper looks great. Feels very neutral so that any number of colors could complement it.
