{decor inspiration: royal flush}

I have to admit I am getting into all the hype that is surrounding the Royal wedding. It's easy to understand our fascination with the Royal Family and it's ties to our history. So when I recieved the lovely images above from Graham & Brown in my inbox earlier this week I couldn't help but share them with you! The company is celebrating with a commemorative Crowns & Coronets wallcovering. And they are not the only ones getting in on the fun, check out this pretty map of the Royal wedding processions in watercolor:

How has the Royal family influenced our decor? Well, let's have a little look:

1 Commemorative Tote {House that Lars Built}, 2 Union Jack settee {Teo Jasmin}, 3 Crowns & Coronets wallcovering {Graham & Brown}, 4 Live like a Queen pillow {Naked Decor}, 5 Crown Headboard {Wisteria}

It's only a matter of days until the wedding of the century! I'm dying to know, will you be watching?

I love them all! The cushions are just royal enough without being too much, and the wallpaper is fab!

Okay, I love a good wedding and a royal one!? It's going to be fabulous. Great pics, Nancy, I love that headboard! How cute would that be in a little girls room?

Love this post, will definitely be watching the wedding. We were in London this summer and my ten year old son became infatuated with all things British. We are going to wallpaper one of the walls of his bedroom with a giant map of the London Tube. Those needlepoint cushions you posted would be fabulous accents as well.

God save the Queen! Haha! Adored this post Nancy, fantastic images selection! The seatee and the headboard are dreamy! I'm a huge fan of all things British (haha, can't deny my argentinian roots) and Jimmie Martin UK restored furniture drives me crazy!!! Have a lovely weekend and congratulations for your posts, they're always super inspiring! XoXo

You bet I will be watching. I remember staying up all night watch Lady Di marry Charles. I suspect we will be seeing a lot of Royal influence in decor!

Love it Nancy!! I think the Queen postage stamp in pink and the Union Jack pillows (on the newspaper sofa: crazy fun!) are fantastic!! I'll be watching the royal wedding too... I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff!!

I may be the only person in the world who has no interest in the royal family or the royal wedding. Partly I'm fed up with the hype, and mostly I just don't get the fascination with royalty. It must be genetic - according to my dad, his grandfather was next in line to be the Earl of Shrewsbury, but he didn't want to be an Earl so he married a bar wench and got disowned. Don't know how accurate the story is, but it's a fun story to tell :-)

All that being said, I do like the touches of Brit in the rooms you posted, and the big Queen artwork in the last room is pretty cool. Really like the Graham & Brown wallpaper too.

Great post! I will definitely watch. I also tried to participate in all of the festivities by posting a living room design for the couple on the olioboard.com challenge. How fun and exciting it all is! I cannot imagine how exciting it is in England right now!
