{fashion meets decor: stripes}

I'm feeling rather smitten over stripes lately ... and I love all the inspiration for our wardrobes and our homes that I've been coming across! Bold, black and white stripes seem especially summery and fresh to me. Here's a little sampling:

I love strips too but I lean towards less contrasting stripes. Goregous round up - hmm, wonder where I can incorporate stripes in my home now.

I am obsessed with stripes! I have so many striped outfits, I am wearing one now, so to speak. And I have so many striped decor in my home! Striped throw pillows, striped table cloth, striped bedding and striped rugs and I am planning to add striped curtains in the future. Lovely round ups, all gorgeous images! Love your picks, too! That umbrella and bracelet are super pretty!

LOVE your roundup, so many great options. I have been searching like a crazy woman for a striped dress. The DVF one I fell in love with has completely sold out but I've been attempting unsuccessfully to stalk it on Ebay. Your images have given me renewed hope that I may find something else that I will love as much.

Oooo-lala! Tres Chic! Love the fresh appeal of black and white stripe! Great collection of wonderful images! By extension, I love the results when we incorporate bars of colour in glasswork for home decor, such as platters and bowls! ;) Pam

Hi Ms. Fab,

... which reminds me that I still have to get a b/w striped rug. Ikea's "Stockholm" will just have to do.

Lovely images as always. Elle Decor will call for your help soon!

Warm hugs to you my friend,

Mon
