{mirrors behind console tables}

The lovely entry way below was created by Toronto-based interior designer Jennifer Ferreira and featured in the September issue of Style at Home. Let's just say it had me at hello ... isn't it divine? What caught my eye was the large scale full-length floor mirror behind the console table, gosh do I love that look! One day I must try this in an entry way!! Here's a round up of some of my favorite examples of this:

And it does have to stop at console tables, how about a bathroom counter?

Or  a crib??

Or even a sofa and art installation??

Love it all! Have you used this idea before?

They definitely ad that wow factor to a space. The bigger the more impact!

yes darl, they're divine - but where's the storage!!! that's why I think this a stylist/stager's dream, but not a great hallway for a family,,, oh well! still looks gorgeous!

(and I've noticed a couple of bathrooms lately with the mirror behind the vanity going right down to the floor too, behind a floating vanity - the space thing I think!)

love it anywhere, but especially in a bathroom like you've featured. makes the space feel so much larger & delightfully regal. ox

I am loving this use of mirrors, partially because I have more vain moments than I care to admit (he he!), but mostly because it's so stylish.

Such a smart way to use a mirror. We have so many dang mirrors in our house I'm sure people totally think we just LOVE to look at ourselves, but in all honesty I just can't pass up a good looking mirror in the store. I'm addicted.

I have a large mirror above my nightstand table. And also a large one in our foyer. My house is fairly big but I do not have many walls!!! (A lot of windows, openings etc). Maybe that is what I need - a new house (even smaller) with more walls so I can decorate more and better! (:

Lovely images as always.

I have! I have a very large mirror in my bedroom. It sits atop a low modern cabinet and almost reaches the ceiling... just an inch or two away... it definitely makes a statement! Lovely ideas, especially the second and third—they have to be my favorites of all.

Hope you are well and are having a fabulous week so far, Nancy! I drove by Fireside today and thought of you... we must have lunch there one day... I wonder if it's air conditioned, haha!

xx, Sarah
