{art makes the room ...}

I'm a firm believer that art can make a room. I also generally go by the 'bigger is better' rule! Here are a few examples I had saved where I think the art is truly one of the strongest elements in the space:

Love love love beach photography ...

I know I have posted this image a 100 times, but seriously, how amazing is this oversized piece? To actually own a Massimo Vitali print would be a dream!

Have I made a convincing case? I really think the art in these spaces hold there own against any other elements in the room. Love!!

Couldn't agree with your more - that beach art is so pretty and makes the space. I'm also really drawn to the yellow piece of art.

I agree, big art is wonderful and it is amazing what one can do buying large posters and even combing them on one board and then hanging. POsters from museums and webits is the poor man's answer to fantastic art.

Large art has my heart!! As a mural artist in another day, I've always believed that art brings the room together. It's usually my inspiration when I begin a project! Great examples!!

Totally agree! My husband and I finally agreed on a large beach photo for above our LR sofa. Here were some others we were considering:

I love large-scale art. I'm thinking about having a few of my photos enlarged (like, REALLY enlarged!) and hanging them on the big blank wall in our family room.

Oh you now I agree with you on this! And the rule "the bigger, the better" -- Couldn't agree more!! Love the pics you picked, and if I wasn't already a believer, you would have convinced me ;-)

Also, I love the pink art from Style at Home, the framing is so unique!
