{fashion forward apartments}

Coco Rocha and Jessica Stam. What do these two ladies have in common? They are Candian supermodels. And both of them have had their fabulous apartments showcased on Vogue.com, proving Canadian gals have serious style!

Jessica's apartment is filled with eclectic flair; I just love the Moroccan sliding doors and the mirrored wall in the entry. She's got the well-traveled look down to a T:

Coco shares her apartment with husband James Conran, the artist. The mirrors above her sofa are a fab find from Crate & Barrel {$200 for 8!}, and the art work and custom built closet give an old-world feel:

Beautiful! And I think both of these ladies prove that small spaces can really pack a punch. Square footage has nothing to do with style!

{sunday style selections}

I love discovering fabulous and fun home accessories in my every day travels, and today I thought I would share some recent finds with you! These are items with a touch of whimsy that are definitely on my personal wishlist.

First up, I've come across this lovely ad from Ginger's a few times now, they make hardware look like jewelry:

But my favorite selection from this stylish line is this little gem, a bathroom occupied sign. How much would your guests get a kick out of this on the powder room door? I'm thinking a tall, black door would be so glam!

Next, if you are anything like me you struggle to grab your house key out of the bunch but don't want any of those tacky color labeled key rings. How about these gorgeous keys from Stat Key Company? You'll never mistake the house key for the mail key again! And they are so affordable at $9.50 -11.00 a piece!

And this one's got a real dose of patriotism, I just fell in love with Toronto-based Nicole Tarasick's stylish graphic throw cushions from StyleGarage. They are perfect proof that souvenirs don't have to be tacky!

My favorite pick {$65.00 for small, $95.00 for large}:

Hope you are having a fabulous Sunday!

{designer profile: domicile id}

I fell in LOVE with the chic and feminine office designed by Domicile Interior Design and featured in Rue Magazine. Every detail is Hollywood glam done right:

But have you seen some of there other work? Nothing but gorgeousness! Amanda Malson and Jolene Ballard make up the Los Angeles-based design powerhouse, Domicile Interior Design. Amanda previously held a position at the well-known design firm KWID, and Jolene is a LEED accredited professional as well as CID certified and is the co-president of IIDA Orange County. Talk about talent! I think you will agree when you scroll below...

I adore their chic California style, with bold fabulous color and warm metals throughout! This design firm is definitely one to watch, be sure to check out their website for more {they have a the most fabulous 'Get A Room' online design service} and you can follow their blog here.

PS. You must pop over to visit my lovely friend Barbara over at Hodge:Podge today, she has done a fabulous IKEA Rast dresser round-up! It's so fun to see how many ways people have hacked this little table, thank you to Barbara for including mine :)
Happy Friday to you!

{sarah 101: classic ensuite}

An 80's bathroom got a serious facelift on Sarah 101 this week! And I think I've come to an important conclusion: Sarah does bathrooms well. REALLY well. I've included a little SR bathroom round-up in this post just to prove my point :)

Hard to believe this gorgeous bathroom was a scary 80's mess beforehand {kinda wish they included before pics on the website}. What I loved most was the seamless mixing of high and low end items. For example, the free-standing tub is basically a piece of art, but the vanity was a big box find through Lowes! And boy, does Sarah know how to work tile!! I love the grey stripes run around the room half way up the wall, and the tile border that adds interest on the floor. I've always been drawn to tile borders, and tiles placed to almost look like a 'rug':

Another tip Sarah shared on this episode was to think of your fixtures as the jewelry of the room, they will elevate the whole look of the space!

The tiny touches of pink and the feminine curves of the vanity and chair take this room to the next level! And I love that the pink was brought in with accessories, but all fixed elements remain classic and timeless. Sarah and Tommy pointed out that this way, you could change the look of your bathroom seasonally with accessories.

Beautiful! I'm ready to move in :) Here are a few other bathrooms Ms. Richardson has designed that make me swoon, they are all so airy and light:

Nothing but loveliness! I'm looking forward to next week's episode already :)
