Yes, you read that right ... my post title for today is a hashtag! I figure I'm too old for these hashtags I see around like #squadgoals and the like, so I'm making up a "goal" tag that seems more relevant to me and to this post - a home's exterior and landscaping that's the stuff dreams are made of.
This 1940's home is situated on Vancouver Island, a couple of hours travel by ferry from my own home. It's currently listed for a cool $3.5 million dollars, and while the inside of the home has tons of decorating potential, it's the OUTSIDE that had me drooling. And with the official start to summer only a few days away, I found myself dreaming up all the amazing summer parties you could host here:
The front of the home boasts boxwood trim, brick pavers, potted topiaries, and old-growth trees - I mean, does it get any better?
A small sitting area was created in a corner of the front lawn:
Now to the backyard:
Love those large flagstone pavers in the grass!! And there are TWO outdoor fireplaces, one on the back deck you see above, and one on a side patio off of the guestroom you see below. Pretty please, if you buy this house invite me over to stay in the guestroom!!
There are verandas and sitting areas to enjoy the outdoor space everywhere - the word "charming" doesn't even cut it people!!
I couldn't help but think to myself as I came to the end of writing this post - the realtors should be giving me a cut of their commission if I help their sale, don't you think? Lol. To see the entire home hop over here.
