House Tour | Jane Scott Hodges

This historic 1869 New Orleans Greek Revival house is filled with fantastic color and pattern and every turn. Jane Scott Hodges, founder of luxury brand Leontine Linens, created a home that truly showcases how you can mix contemporary ideas with timeless sophistication. With the help of designer Gwen Driscoll, Jane pushes the envelope and tests out bold colors like the chartreuse lacquer in the double parlour & expertly mixes unexpected patterns like Kelly Wearstler's Crescent wallpaper with Schumacher's Pyne Holloyhock in the upstairs den. Let's take a look:

All the way through to the back door:

Another perfect wallpaper (Cole & Sons Gondola), and a creative corner vanity in the powder room:

And of course there is no shortage of gorgeous custom linens in this home; from the powder room to the dining table, you'll find stunning monogramming throughout:

It was this October's issue of House Beautiful that had me gasping at the mantle display and grasscloth in the dining room (Ralph Lauren Home's Ionian Sea Linen):

The kitchen is a lovely rest for the eyes, clean and contemporary with a healthy dose of Calacatta gold:

As I mentioned earlier, I'm loving the mix in the den!

It would be my dream to have a fabric-lined linen armoire filled with goodies like this one in my ensuite:

Now, pretty please do me (and yourself) a favour and watch the video tour created by the talented duo Stacey Bewkes of Quintessence and Susanna Salk. I'm so excited every time they post a new video, because we truly get much more of a detailed view, and a sense of space and scale of the rooms well beyond what you can garner from a 2D photo! Enjoy ;)
