All-Over Pattern Inspiration | Indian Arbre

I've had a bathroom I've saved to my inspiration files for some time now, and I think the main reason I loved it so much was the all-over use of Schumacher's floral Indian Arbre in Hyacinth. So when I came across the bathroom before the wallcovering was installed I was astounded by what a difference the pattern and color really made. It literally makes this space sing:

If you flip back and forth between the before & after you'll see that virtually nothing else in the space was changed. The vanity, mirror, lighting, and even artwork are identical in both photos. It does look however like the millwork was painted a deeper warm putty grey and I love how it compliments the paper. The sweet boy in the photo gives us the perfect reference of human scale within this space and large-scale floral pattern.

I also found the photo below and and of course loved the covered walls and upholstery combined:

BUT have no fear, if you could only imagine using this fabric in a small dose, look to Arianna Belle's pillow shop for just the right fix:

I love the deep blues and purples combined, and how you can pull out and play up on these lovely hues. And truthfully, the beige/putty browns look so good with it in compliment, don't you think? I'm being more and more convinced of using purple these days as well, especially after Ashley Whittaker's gorgeous example in the latest House Beautiful (this is a different floral fabric on the pillow and shades but similar vibe):

Are you loving this pattern as much as I am?
