{thank you style at home!}
A very BIG thank you to the folks over at Style at Home for including me in an article high lighting budget decorating ideas. It's always fun to contribute, and I just love the way that this first-class Canadian magazine is creating a community of designers, stylists, and bloggers sharing creative ideas. This time around the focus is on using art to give your home some personality in a creative and budget-friendly way:

Beautiful vignette Nancy. I love the pops of colour paired with a great neutral!
And SOOOOO excited to hear that Tim is being featured in the April S@H issue. I was wondering if he might just be featured (after seeing his 20 questions feature on styleathome.com) and am delighted by your confirmation!!!
Congrats!!
Congrats on the feature and what a great tip! Love this house tour as well!

Thanks so much Nancy for the shout out!! I'm beyond excited about this feature in the April Issue of Style at Home and I'm totally crazy about your framing tip!
Will be doing the same for a collection of prints with oversized frames in a living room project!
Congratulations, Nancy! I love over-matted images, so this tip is one that works for me :-)
Congratulations on the feature, Nancy!! xx meenal
How exciting! And I love the look, too. I'll be using that tip one day soon.
Have always loved the oversized mat loook and you showed it perfectly. Does style at home allow you to use their photos as long as they are credited?

I love the idea of putting personal photos in oversized matted frames. You are right- they look deceptively pricey! Congrats on being featured dear!
Great tip Nancy! Congrats on being featured again. Barbara at Hodge Podge blog did an interview with Tim not so long ago as well. Here's the link http://hodgepodge-babselou.blogspot.com/2012/01/so-canadian-eh-tim-lam.html
Loved your tip Nancy and I have seen Tim's home in person and it is beautiful. (Two posts in one day while doing your thesis - wow! You're putting me to shame!)
Hi Nancy
Got my Style at Home today, love that mag too. I like your idea for ready made frames-solves the problem of crazy custom framing prices.
Congrats! This is brilliant, and I too have always loved this magazine.
Great working with you, again :) Thanks so much for sharing the blogger feature. It's so exciting to see everyone engaging!
Hi Nancy,
May I ask the name of the art supply store that cut that mattes for such a great price? I tried to get a local framer to do it and he quoted a high price.
thanks!
Michelle
It doesn't surprise me ....... you are one heck of a talented lady and you deserve to be noted. Heading on over to Tim's blog.
